The basket is also 14 inches in diameter so it can hold a pretty good sized pot.

I love the way the basket hangs and how sturdy it is.  I have several to match and they are just lovely.  The black against colors of the plants sets the plants apart.  It is a great hanging basket.  I also love other kinds of planters and enjoy getting my hands dirty potting and re-potting them all.  I guess I kind of a garden nerd because there is nothing better than playing in the dirt with my plants.  I highly recommend you try it.
