Learn a little something about Marketing

Have you ever been surprised when the door bell rang to find the person on the other side of the door is holding a beautiful basket and it’s for you? Isn’t it a wonderful feeling. That’s one reason I like to send gift baskets. Surprising people is fun, and you know they are going to love what you have sent. You know what it’s like to be sitting at your desk when a delivery comes in for someone and it looks so beautiful and interesting you can’t wait to see who is the lucky recipient. All the while wondering and sort of hoping it’s for you. The other part of this equation is that it is so simple. I can make people happy, and all I have to do is sort through the gift baskets available online and choose one I think is just right and send it. No more mall shopping headaches pacing from store to store looking for something you can give. It eats away at your free time and half the time you end up buying something just mediocre.

I have some family out of town, so I thought I would look to see what I could order and send to them. I was looking for something for a family of four with children and a set of grandparents too, but I narrowed it down in minutes. I’m sending the upscale wine and cheese gourmet basket to the grandparents. I’ll also be sending the holiday sweets basket with the Santa and red and white decorated Christmas boxes for my small family with little children. My grandparents will be delighted and the family’s children will be thrilled when they see what has been delivered for them. All of the baskets I saw are so beautifully presented and the range in selection is huge. You can do Hanukkah Baskets, Christmas Morning Baskets, and New Year’s Baskets. You name it and it’s available, and in every price range too. I hope if anyone is wondering what to give me they don’t pace the stores, but surprise me with a gift basket.
