Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease also known as the acronym COPD
is a complication where the airways in the lungs are partially blocked.
The airways are narrowed thus resulting in the limitation of the airflow
to the lungs causing shortness of breath. Chronic bronchitis and
emphysema which can compromise lung function are included in COPD. With
this disease you may find that by doing some of the tasks that you are
used to, cause you to have difficulty breathing. In contrast to asthma
this disease is poorly reversible and usually gets worse over a period
of time.

One of the most common causes of chronic obstructive
pulmonary disease is tobacco smoke which triggers an abnormal
inflammatory response in the lung. Other causes include
exposures such as paint, gas, welding, and roofing materials. Other causes
can be air pollution, genetics, and autoimmune disease. There is not a
cure for this disease at this time but it is preventable and treatable. As a medical health care professional, you have to perform the necessary test in order to confirm that a patient is suffering from a lung disorder.

The village of Yachats, Oregon is named after a Chinook Indian word, Yahuts, which refers to dark waters at the base of a mountain. Yachats is a bay town, with a river running through the middle, at the base of forested coastal mountains. Yachats hotels are mostly beachfront locations and the town is small enough that you can get to most things easily by walking or bicycling.
