Seven years ago we bought a brand new house with dirt for a yard. The first couple of years we were lucky to get grass growing and we never thought about what the yard could look like as it was not a priority. Then we decided we would purchase a garden structure or feature every spring in order to enhance the look and feel of either the front or back yards. We’ve added a water feature otherwise known as a fish pond that my four year old son adores and a shed that was more a necessity than a fun so last year I put my foot down for something that was more along the line of pretty.
