Mother’s Day is coming up and soon my kids and husband will be dropping hints about the occasion and starting to feel me out for my choice of present. You know, for so many years I used to come up with lame answers like, “I don’t need anything” or “Breakfast in bed” or even the perennially pathetic “I’d like a day off from the dishes.” And because I made it easy, that’s what I usually got – Nadda. Well as I’ve matured, a few things have finally come clear for me and this year I’m asking for a Japanese Flowering Cherry Bonsai tree. It’s part of a long term training program. Lord of the Rings villain fans can now have a replica of the very sword said to have been used by one of Sauron’s most powerful minions – the Witchking. The Witchking led the nine ring wraiths who were tasked with nothing less than seeking the Ring.
